Ed Keller survived the war
and prison camp to come back home and re-inlisted with the submarine
serviceand fufilled 20 years of service for
the United States Navy.
Married Gladys Pisker and raise 3
sons.
Worked at the Philadelphia
shipyard for a time then worked with Gould National Battery as a consultant and
service rep to the Navy. At one time Ed Keller had the distinction of
having been aboard and inspected the batteries of every nuclear submarine in the
US and most every diesel in the free world.
Including Peru, Argentina,
Venezuela, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Japan,
China, Taiwan.
On June 23rd 1994 at the age
of 73 Edwin Keller embarked on Eternal Patrol. On June 26th he was honored
by 100's of friends and family. He received a military 9 gun salute from
the Honor Gaurd out of the Philadelphia Navel Shipyard, and was intured at
Whenona cematary.

He returned to Pearl Harbor many times in his retirement

livelyhood.
